Tongue Thrusting

How Chinese medicine differentiates repetitive tongue thrusting — often seen in children — the three patterns you'll actually meet in practice, and the points for each. Gentle pediatric technique where applicable. Acupuncture only — no herbs.

This page is educational, for practitioners and students — it is not a diagnostic tool and does not replace a proper in-person assessment. Tongue thrusting with high fever, convulsions, or loss of consciousness is a medical emergency needing immediate care, not acupuncture first.
