Pale Lips

How Chinese medicine differentiates pale lips into the four patterns you'll actually meet in practice, and the points for each. Distinct from this site's Pale Lips and Nail Beds and Dull Pale Complexion pages. Acupuncture only — no herbs.

This page is educational, for practitioners and students — it is not a diagnostic tool and does not replace a proper in-person assessment. Persistently pale lips, especially with fatigue, dizziness or breathlessness, are worth checking for anemia or another underlying cause.
General Acupuncture Points
