Pyloric Spasm

How Chinese medicine differentiates pyloric spasm into the six patterns you'll actually meet in practice, and the points for each. Distinct from this site's own Gastritis and Functional Dyspepsia pages. Acupuncture only — no herbs.

This page is educational, for practitioners and students — it is not a diagnostic tool and does not replace a proper in-person assessment. Persistent vomiting, weight loss, or inability to keep food down needs medical evaluation to rule out a structural obstruction before assuming a simple pattern.
