1. Spleen Deficiency With Dampness
Clinical manifestations: Bloating and fullness after eating, loose or unformed stools, heaviness of the body and limbs, poor appetite, fatigue, drowsiness after meals.
Tongue: Pale, swollen body with teeth marks, white greasy coating, moist surface. Pulse: Soggy and slow, soft and weak, especially at the right middle position.
Treatment principle: Tonify Spleen Qi, strengthen the Spleen, drain Dampness.
Note: moxa applicable on ST-36. This site has no combined Spleen-deficiency-with-Dampness slide, a gap confirmed absent many times over — no pattern link is given here; points still link fine individually.
Clinical manifestations: Burning abdominal pain, foul-smelling sticky stools, anal burning or itching, feeling of heaviness in the lower body, thirst with no desire to drink much.
Tongue: Red body with yellow greasy coating, thickest at the root. Pulse: Slippery and rapid.
Treatment principle: Clear Heat, dry Dampness, stop diarrhea, restore normal intestinal environment.
Note: no moxa. Matched to this site's own Damp-Heat-in-the-Bladder slide via the established Lower-Burner organ-system convention used for other Damp-Heat patterns without a digestive-organ-specific slide.
Clinical manifestations: Abdominal pain that triggers diarrhea, symptoms flare with stress or anger, distension along the ribs, irritability and sighing, alternating constipation and loose stools.
Tongue: Normal or slightly pale body with possible teeth marks, thin white coating, possibly slightly greasy. Pulse: Wiry, especially at the left middle position, softer at the right middle indicating Spleen weakness.
Treatment principle: Soothe the Liver, regulate Qi, harmonize the Liver-Spleen relationship, drain Dampness.
Note: no moxa. Direct exact-name match with this site's own Rebellious-Liver-Qi-invading-the-Spleen slide.
Clinical manifestations: Upper abdominal distension after eating, frequent belching with temporary relief, a sensation of food sitting heavily in the stomach, distending epigastric pain, irritability and moodiness.
Tongue: Normal body color with thin white coating, slight redness on the sides in prolonged cases. Pulse: Wiry, especially at the right middle position.
Treatment principle: Move Qi, descend Qi, soothe the Liver, restore the Stomach's descending function.
Note: no moxa. Direct exact-name match with this site's own Stomach-Qi-stagnation slide.
5. Turbid Dampness Obstructing the Middle Burner
Clinical manifestations: Heavy, stuffy bloating in the upper belly, nausea or queasiness, heaviness of the body and limbs, no thirst, a bland or sticky taste.
Tongue: Pale, swollen body with teeth marks, thick white greasy coating concentrated in the center. Pulse: Soggy and moderate, may be slippery at the right middle position.
Treatment principle: Transform and dry Dampness, strengthen the Spleen, move Qi, restore middle burner function.
Note: moxa applicable on BL-20/ST-36. A plain excess-Damp obstruction of the middle burner, without a Liver-Qi or Heat/Cold marker, has no matching slide on this site — this site's closest Dampness-obstruction slide requires a Liver-Qi-stagnation component this pattern doesn't have — no pattern link is given here; points still link fine individually.
