Irritability

How Chinese medicine differentiates chronic irritability into the 6 patterns behind it, and the points for each. A general symptom page distinct from this site's own Anxiety page. Acupuncture only β€” no herbs.

Irritability with thoughts of harming yourself or others needs immediate professional support β€” call a crisis line or seek emergency care.
General Acupuncture Points

Acupuncture points traditionally used for irritability β€” 3 key points, used across the patterns below rather than tied to just one.

HE-7Calms the Mind and opens the Mind’s orifices. Nourishes Heart-Blood.
