Oral Thrush

How Chinese medicine differentiates oral thrush (candidiasis of the mouth) — distinct from Candidiasis and Sticky Taste in the Mouth already covered — the two patterns you'll actually meet in practice, and the points for each. Acupuncture only — no herbs, used as supportive care alongside antifungal treatment, never as a substitute for it.

This page is educational, for practitioners and students — it is not a diagnostic tool and does not replace a proper in-person assessment. Oral thrush needs an antifungal medication to actually clear (it can also signal an underlying issue like diabetes or a weakened immune system worth investigating); acupuncture here is supportive only, alongside that treatment.
