Vaginal Atrophy

How Chinese medicine differentiates vaginal atrophy — thinning, drying vaginal tissue, most often around menopause — into the three patterns you'll actually meet in practice, and the points for each. Distinct from this site's own Vaginal Dryness page. Acupuncture only — no herbs.

This page is educational, for practitioners and students — it is not a diagnostic tool and does not replace a proper in-person assessment. Post-menopausal bleeding alongside atrophy symptoms needs medical evaluation to rule out other causes before assuming a simple pattern.
