1. Heat Victorious Agitating Blood
Clinical manifestations: Deep crimson rash (non-itchy), nosebleeds, blood in the urine or stool, high fever worse at night, mental agitation, intense thirst.
Tongue: Deep crimson body with a prickly surface, dry yellow coating with purplish spots. Pulse: Rapid, wiry, may become fine if bleeding is severe.
Treatment principle: Clear intense interior Heat from the Blood level, cool the Blood, stop reckless bleeding.
Note: no moxa. This severe Heat-in-the-Blood emergency picture has no standalone matching slide on this site (confirmed absent since early in this project), so no pattern link is given here; points still link fine individually.
Clinical manifestations: Itchy, bright red purpura, fever with chills, sore throat, recent cold or infection.
Tongue: Red tip and edges with thin yellow coating. Pulse: Floating and rapid.
Treatment principle: Disperse Wind-Heat from the exterior, cool the Blood, soothe throat inflammation.
Note: no moxa. Matched to this site's own Invasion-of-Lungs-by-Wind-Heat slide on the exterior-invasion level — fever with chills and sore throat are that slide's own core presentation, the same logic used for Otitis Media, Blepharitis and Periodontal Disease.
3. Painful Obstruction Due to Damp-Heat in Channels
Clinical manifestations: Swollen, hot, red joints, pain worse with warmth and better with cold, heavy aching limbs, dark scanty urine, purpura around the joints.
Tongue: Red body, possibly swollen, thick greasy yellow coating. Pulse: Slippery, rapid.
Treatment principle: Clear Heat and dry Dampness from the Lower Burner, resolve joint inflammation.
Note: no moxa. This is the generic Damp-Heat-in-the-channels Bi-syndrome picture, already confirmed absent as a standalone slide on this site — no pattern link is given here; points still link fine individually.
Clinical manifestations: Dense, dark, painful purpura at fixed locations, stabbing pain worse at night and with pressure, irritability, thirst without desire to swallow.
Tongue: Reddish-purple body with stasis spots, distended sublingual veins, thin dry yellow coat. Pulse: Choppy, rapid, wiry at the left Guan.
Treatment principle: Clear lingering Heat from the Blood, invigorate circulation to resolve congealed stasis.
Note: no moxa. Direct match with this site's own Liver-Blood-stasis slide, extended to its Heat-layered variant — the same convention already used for Folliculitis, Skin Abscess and Bruising.
Clinical manifestations: Dull or dusky purple purpura, profound fatigue, pale complexion, poor appetite, loose stools, shortness of breath, easy or heavy menstrual bleeding.
Tongue: Pale, puffy body with teeth marks, thin white coating. Pulse: Fine, weak, especially at the right Guan/Spleen position.
Treatment principle: Strengthen Spleen-Qi to contain Blood within the vessels, nourish Blood to replenish losses.
Note: moxa applicable throughout. Matched to this site's own Spleen-not-controlling-Blood slide via the same holding-function mechanism.
Clinical manifestations: Recurrent dull-red purpura, low-grade afternoon fever, night sweats, dry mouth/throat worse at night, heat in the palms/soles/chest, flushed cheekbones, restlessness, insomnia.
Tongue: Red, thin, dry body with cracks, little or no coating. Pulse: Fine, rapid, weak at the deep left rear position.
Treatment principle: Nourish Yin fluids to extinguish Empty-Fire, cool Blood without further depleting resources.
Note: no moxa given the Empty-Heat. Direct match with this site's own Kidney-Yin-deficiency-Empty-Heat-blazing slide.
