Snoring and Sleep Apnea

How Chinese medicine differentiates snoring and sleep apnea, the six patterns you'll actually meet in practice, and the points for each. Acupuncture only — no herbs, and only as supportive care alongside sleep-medicine management.

This page is educational, for practitioners and students — it is not a diagnostic tool and does not replace a proper in-person assessment. Suspected obstructive sleep apnea needs a proper sleep study and medical management (such as CPAP); acupuncture here is supportive care for the underlying constitutional pattern, not a substitute for that.
